This concert, supported by Oxfordshire Welsh Society, lived up to its promising title and was a veritable feast for musical ears with an offering ranging from Zulu chants to popular Welsh hymns.
The famous Morriston Orpheus were expertly and sensitively controlled by their glamorous Musical Director Joy Amman Davies. Unfortunately, one of the scheduled soloists for the evening, soprano Rebecca Evans, was unable to attend but was more than adequately replaced by soprano Iona Jones.By general agreement the most outstanding items of the evening were from Welsh/Italian Tenor, Adriano Graziano whose magnificent voice and charisma filled the hall with Operatic arias and Mario Lanza favourites.
Benefitting Charities were Help for Heroes and Oxford Cruse Bereavement Care.
Let’s have more wonderful evenings like this please!
